What a wonderful day we had in Milford Happy Days for our very own Royal Wedding. Weeks of planning resulted in a fantastic event with parents joining us at St. Katharines Church for a lovely ceremony and a party back at Nursery. Here are just a few of the pictures. See our facebook page for more.
Well done to the staff and their families and friends who all came out for our sponsored walk in aid of Glaucoma awareness. Following a difficult year in which our staff member Demmie was diagnosed with Glaucoma we have done some work with the children on eye health and our parents have been wonderful in supporting us also. Thank you to all
Nursery and Playscheme enjoyed a visit from Silentworld this week. The children were able to touch, stroke and handle a selection of creatures and creepy crawlies. The children were very brave and loved every minute. The staff……not so much !!.
The Children in Haverfordwest have been very busy creating their own Fairy Gardens to take home and a large one for our outside area. Well done boys and girls.
Well Done to staff member Sian who recently completed her level 3 award in Childcare, Learning and Development through Pembrokeshire College. Sian also received a special award for being Apprentice of the Year. We are super proud of her.
We are delighted to say once again that Happy Days in Milford has been awarded the grade of HIGHLY COMMENDED in their receint Quality for All Inspection by Wales Preschool Playgroups Association.
Children in Haverfordwest had a wonderful time celebrating Chinese New Year. Big thanks to the Le family for the use of their wonderful Chinese Dragon.
Happy Days were delighted to have received their result from ESTYN the school inspectors following a recent inspection. Having looked at the quality of the education for our 3 and 4 year olds, the report comments on lots of excellent practice and an overall result of GOOD. Well done to the whole setting and Nicola and her team in our Preschool room.
Both sites enjoyed wonderful Halloween Parties. The staff at both worked hard to create spooky activities and games, food and treats for the children and parents. Well done to everyone for their amazing costumes too.
The children in Milford were delighted, and very very muddy, after a visit to the local pumpkin patch. They all chose a pumpkin and came back to nursery to decorate them
